YSFON In Need Of Sponsorship In Rivers

Chairman of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, (YSFON), Rivers State chapter, Tam Jamabo has expressed sadness over non sponsorship of the organisation.
He explained that YSFON is still in existence in the state, but lack of sponsorship of tournaments makes it look nonfunctional.
Jamabo, said this during the official commissioning ceremony of Real Madrid football academy at the weekend  in Port Harcourt.
“ It has been a very difficult times for the organisation in term of sponsorship. Yet most times we sponsor ourselves and represent the state in competitions” Jamabo said.
He appealed to multi nationals, companies and well meaning individuals to sponsor the organisation to enable it functional.
The Chairman used the forum to commend the state government  led by Chief Nyesom Wike over  the completion of the Real Madrid Football Academy in the state.
According to him, the academy has  come to stay, adding that the realisation  of the academy is a thing of joy.
“ Is not easy to establish Real Madrid Football Academy away from Spain to anywhere. I commend the governor he has done well”, he stated.
He further expressed optimism that the academy will develop youth football in the country as well as YSFON.
