MPN Candidate Offers Blueprint For Bayelsa Guber Poll
Bayelsa State governorship candidate of the Mega Party of Nigeria, MPN, in the November 16th, 2019 polls, Mrs. Blessing Clement has given her blue print for governance of the state.
The Otabagi community, Ogbia Local Government Area-born politician in an interview with our medium Monday declared that her focal projects amongst others would be consisted efforts to empowering youths, women groups and the elderly when she becomes governor.
Mrs. Clement who scored the restoration government led by Governor Dickson low in terms of development, stressed that from 2012 to date the out-going administration has not created avenues for empowering youths of the state. She noted that her party has a road map for all round development, including job creation amongst others.
The Mega party of Nigeria candidate who pride herself as the first woman from her Ogbia extraction to become a gubernatorial candidate in the electoral history of Bayelsa and old River state said, “Following my wide spread political tentacles my campaign office has become a pilgrimage ground of a sort”.
According to her, Bayelsans are tired of failed promises and distorted government programmes, harping that unlike others her government would spread development evenly to all parts of the state.
Speaking on her recent visit to the Swali ultra-modern market in Yenagoa metropolis, Mrs. Clement said her going to the business ground was to have a feel of the problems facing the traders there, especially the rural women who had come from the far-flung communities to eke-out a living from buying and selling.
The MPN guber hopeful reiterated her desire to win the forth coming elections, insisting that in consonance with the manifesto of her party and her blue print the era of lump sided development and selective empowerment of Bayelsans may soon be a thing of the past just as she argued that victory would not elude her come 16th November, 2019 when Bayelsans would go to the polls to vote their next governor.
