Keves Cup: Coach Sure To Win Tournament
The Head Coach of Ororo Football Club of Port Harcourt, Godspower Sonto says his team is training hard to be victorious in the maiden edition of the Keves Football Championship in Rivers State.
He stated that in spite the fact his club is new, but he has no doubt that they will perform impressively following the training they are currently under going.
Sonto said this, in an exclusive interview with Tidesports, at the Rivers State Football Association (RSFA) Secretariat, NUJ Press Centre, premises, Moscow Road, in Port Harcourt.
Keves Football Championship is aimed at promoting and developing grassroots football in the state and would commence next weekend, at the Sharks Football Stadium, Old Port Harcourt Township.
According to him, this is the first major competition his team will participate.
“This will be the first major competition my club will participate in the state. Last two months we participated in Bayelsa State Super League, but crash out in the semi-finals through penalty kick” Sonto said.
He equally said that his players are on high spirit and determined to make a statement in the competition.
He commended the state RSFA for the opportunity given to the youths to discover their talents.
