NBBF Ready For African Body Building, Physique Championship

The Nigeria Bodybuilding Federation (NBBF) has concluded preparation for the forthcoming African body building and physique championship scheduled to hold this month in Luanda, Angola.
This was disclosed  yesterday by president of the NBBF Soye Elekima during a chat with Tidesports in port Harcourt.
According to him, the trip and the necessary arrangements for the competition are being sponsored by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Meanwhile, the athletes are in high spirit and are determined to win laurels for their fatherland as preparations are in top gear.
Elekima applauded the support given by the NDDC, saying that it would definitely motivate the athletes to bring out the best in them when the chips are down.
He called on other well meaning  individuals and corporate organisations to emulate the gesture demonstrated by the NDDC in order to promote sports development in the country.
The championship is slated  for 15 to 18 of this month, about three body builders would be representing the country in Angola.
The contingent would be leaving Nigeria August 15 and arrive on the 17 for the competition.
