Cleric Warns Christian Faithful Against Double Worship
A renowned cleric in Ikwerre Local Government Local Government of Rivers State, Rev Bobson Wokanma, has warned Christians in the country to desist from practising double worshipping of God
He described double worshipping as unreligious as it goes against the Christian faith.
Wokanma spoke to The Tide shortly after the burial of Late Mrs. Ezinne Roseline Chinyere Jossy in Agbogha village in Omademe Community, recently.
Describing late Chinyere Jossy as a true woman of God, the cleric said she left a legacy worthy of emulation by her children and the Christian community.
The cleric, who is the Parish Priest of Saint Silas’ Anglican Church, Omademe, called on Christians to live committed, sincere lives in order to make Heaven, and noted that late Roseline Jossy was a committed Christian who served God and humanity faithfully
Wokanma said late Jossy lived a worthy life on Earth, and insisted that if resurrection comes now, she would merit Heaven.
Also speaking, the Palace Secretary to Eze Chima Okpara Wokokpor in Aluu Clan, Elder Ichendu ThankGod Abraham, described the late mother-in-law as a beloved and faithful Christian woman.
Accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Caroline Ichendu and children, Abraham described late Chinyere Jossy as a peace maker, teacher, care giver and role model to the entire women in Ikwerre and beyond.
