Cleric Advises Basketballers To Put God First

Basketball players, mostly teenagers in Rivers State have been advised to always put God first in every thing they are doing.
The Pastor of Love Assembly Mission,  Benjamin L. Dappa gave the advice on Tuesday, at the opening  ceremony of the 12th edition of DA-F basketball holiday camp/ clinic for teenagers, at basketball court , Old Port Harcourt township.
He noted that when God is been placed first everything you do will be successful in your life.
The man of God urged the players to grab this opportunity and  engage themselves meaningful.
“ You should understand and learn the game  fast because is your asset for tomorrow.
Forget about any negative activities  take game serious you will go places,” pastor Dappa said.
He commended the founder of the DA-F basketball Holiday Camp/Clinic, Coach Oyanabo for taking a lot of youths out of streets during the holiday season.
He urged the children to always read the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12:1 which says, remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
