Okowa Swears In Five Special Advisers
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, yesterday swore in new five Special Advisers (SAs) with a charge to proffer advice that would spur the development of the state.
The governor, while swearing in the SAs at the Government House, Asaba, said the choice of seasoned persons was born from the exigency needed to build a stronger economy for the state.
Our correspondent reports that the SAs are -Prof. Sylvester Monye (Policy), Dr Kingsley Emu (Economy), Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo (Housing and Urban Development), Mr Emmanuel Okoro (Rural Development) and Mr Efe Ofoburuku (Legislative Matters).
Responding on behalf of the SAs, Monye pledged their resolve to deliver quality advice to the governor for sustainable development in the state.
