Emmanuel Submits List Of Nominees To A’Ibom Assembly 

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has forwarded a list of nominees for appointment as Commissioners and Special Advisers to the State House of Assembly.
The list attached to a letter dated 20th June 2019 and presented to the House by the Clerk, Mrs Mandu Umoren, during yesterday’s plenary indicates that over 90percent of the nominees were members of the recently dissolved state executive council.
Among the nominees according to the list include; Akan Okon, Ime Ekpo NSE Essien, Uwemedimo Nwoko, Monday Uko, Linus Nkan, Okpulupum Etteh, Ephraim Inyaneyen, Ekong Sampson, Charles Udoh
Orman Esin, Iniobong Essien, Dominic Ukpong and Gloria Edet.
Others are; Udo Ekpenyong, Ukpong Akpabio, Uno Etim, Raphael Bassey, Victor Bassey. And the nominees for appointment as Special Advisers include; Sunny Ibuot and Ekemini Umoh.
Receiving the letter and list of nominees, the Speaker, Mr Aniekan Bassey committed same to the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Public Petitions, inaugurated shortly after the presentation of the lists, to deliberate and report to the House in a week’s time.
