An elder statesman in Rivers State, Rev. Sokari Soberekon, has described the re-election of Governor Nyesom Wike as a triumph of good over evil, and a reflection of the will of the people.
Rev. Soberekon who said this in an exclusive interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, stressed the need for the Governor to use the opportunity provided by his re-election to commence the construction of the Trans Kalabari road, the commencement of a mass transit scheme in Port Harcourt City and its environs, while minibuses be restricted to the smaller towns and villages.
Soberekon also stressed the need for a programme that will massively empower Rivers people.
Meanwhile, the elder statesman has stressed the need for the Federal Government to construct a road to Akassa Community in Bayelsa State.
