CDCs Laud Wike’s Victory

The Forum of Community Development Committees in Rivers State has described the victory of Governor Nyesom Wike in the just concluded Governorship election in Rivers State as an act of God.
The forum which said this in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt also attributed the victory of the Governor to his leadership style.
According to the forum, the leadership style of the administration was responsible for the numerous peoples oriented projects embarked upon by the Governor through out the state in the last four years.
“Your leadership style motivated Rivers people to massively vote for you for second term and as well defend their votes despite series of intimidation by military men and those who are enemies of the state”.
The forum further said that it will mobilise the entire Rivers communities to support the Governor to enable him succeed in his second term.
Speaking in an interview with newsmen, the Coordinator General, United Community Development Committee (UCDC) Mr. John Onwubualili said that the forum is happy with the victory of the Governor.
Onwubualili also stressed the need for members of the opposition to support the Governor, stressing that Wike needs the support of all to develop the state.
The UCDC Coordinator General however urged the Governor to invest in human capital development, attract foreign investment into the state to boast job opportunities as well as renovation of schools
