The Nigerian Northern Provincial Head of  Celestial Church of  Christ, Kubwa, FCT, Evangelist Ebenezer Oschoffa, has described the relative peace in last  Saturday’s polls as evidence of God’s hand in the daily running of Nigeria.
He said this yesterday at the Kubwa parish 1 of the Church when he made pastoral visit to the church.
The cleric said the way and manner Nigerians stood by the political class, with ceaseless prayers, manifested in the relative peace of the elections.
Oschoffa thanked God for keeping the country safe and healthy, adding that Nigerians would soon start counting their blessings after the elections.
He said, “Before the elections, God’s love bounded all Nigerians and this put Satan to shame. It is the kind of love that does not discriminate.’’
The cleric cited the Books of Romans 12: verse 9 and I John Chapter 4 verses 7-10 to buttress his point.
According the Book of Romans, “Let love be without hypocrisy, while 1 John, chapter 4 says, “You are of God, little children, and  have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
He urged Nigerians to love their neigbours as they loved themselves to move the nation forward; stressing that love carried the greatest weight among all God’s commandments.
“In all our prayers, we should continue to pray for love and peace as this is the foundation of stability, strength and unity.”
The cleric, who prayed for politicians, especially for the new and re-elected politician God’s guidance, however, warned them not to renege on their promises to the people.
