Reps Aspirant Tasks Voters On Guber Polls

The people of Rivers State have been encouraged to come out and exercise their franchise in the forthcoming Governorship elections next Saturday.
Speaking shortly after casting his vote in Tombia in Degema Local Government Area, the Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Bonny/Degema Constituency, on the platform of the PDP, Hon Farah Dagogo commended his local government for their peaceful conduct throughout the elections. 
Dr. Dagogo who was pleased with the turnout for the elections, urged them to do likewise come 9th March to vote for candidates of their choice. 
He also condemned the violence in other communities, while appealing to youths to shun violence and embrace peace. 
He also noted that electoral materials arrived late due to the peculiar terrain of Degema Local Government Areas, but that adequate logistics should be put in place to avoid such delays.
Also speaking , the Chairman of Degema Local Government Areas Tony Philemon applauded the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for ensuring a peaceful election across the state. 
He expressed joy over the peaceful atmosphere across the community, adding that he is believing God that the governorship election will also be peaceful. 
According to him, voting commenced very late due to malfunctioning of the equipments, which in turn hampered the process.
  He advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to put up efficient machines that will ensure the smooth running of the elections.
