‘Manager’s Relationship With Players, Key To Team’s Success’
Kano Pillars midfield powerhouse Kamal Sikiru has said that the key to success in a team depends on the manager’s relationship with his players. Kamal who won league titles at Enyimba insists coaches who criticise players and throw them under the bus end up with disgruntled squads that could lead to failure.
He likened the scenario to the relationship former Man United Manager, Jose Mourinho had with his players.
‘If you maintain a cordial; mutual and professional relationship with your players, where we rise and fall together, footballers will go the extra mile for you,” he said opined.
