Dakuku Buys Army Uniforms, Guns For Thugs …As Ngofa Threatens To Unleash Soldiers On Eleme

With the clock ticking away to tomorrow’s Governorship and State House of Assembly polls, politicians and other stakeholders are making last-minute preparations to ensure that the election pendulum tilts towards their favour.
It has, however, been discovered that the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is not on the ballot for the all-important elections in Rivers State, has perfected clandestine moves to play the spoiler and truncate the electoral process in the state.
Investigations revealed that Rivers APC Chieftain and Director-General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Netherlands, Orji Ngofa are hell-bent on ensuring that elections were disrupted in the entire Rivers South-East Senatorial District.
The unwholesome plot, according to sources, showed that Dakuku Peterside has procured guns and Army uniforms and would lead the thugs in military uniform to terrorize Andoni, Opobo/Nkoro, Oyigbo and Ogoni LGAs on Election Day; while his co-party man, Ngofa would attempt to make real his boast of using soldiers to arrest and intimidate innocent people in Eleme during the polls.
Whether these evil plots by the APC would succeed remains to be seen.
However, if recent assurances by security agencies and the nation’s electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that they would do everything possible to ensure smooth conduct of the elections, then the electorate in the Rivers South-East Senatorial District would have no cause to be afraid.
