We Are Working Very Hard To Win Kwara United – Striker
Rivers United Football Club of Port Harcourt striker, Wasiu Jimoh has said that his team is working very hard to win Kwara United of llorin in the match day seven of the Nigeria Professional football league (NPFL) today at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Port Harcourt.
He explained that they had forgotten the match against Enyimba FC of Aba last Sunday, adding that in to day’s match they are (Rivers Utd) going for the three points.
Jimoh said this in a telephone interview with Tidesports, saying that Kwara United is a good team but the pride of Rivers State will not leave any stone unturned.
According to him, United was working very hard to make sure they went back to top of the log.
Rivers United is currently in third position on the table after its 2-0 loss to Emyimba last Sunday.
Jimoh noted that, his team had not been scoring many goals in their matches, adding that they were working hard to ensure they score more goals in there outing.
“It is not by me scoring any player in of the team can score; what is important is the team winning.
We want to win Kwara United and go back to our position,” Jimoh said.
Jimoh has scored two goals in five appearances for Rivers United this season.
The pride of Rivers State is currently on third position in the NPFL table after playing five matches, won two, drew two and lost one with eight points.
“I want to add value to my market price by scoring many goals,” Jimoh noted.
