‘FCT FA Pre-Season League Imperative For Football Dev’

A member of FCT FA board and an aspirant for the FA chairmanship, Godwin Bamigboye, says the pre-season league is imperative to prepare clubs and players for bigger leagues. Bamigboye told newsmen that it was also an opportunity to discover new players. He promised that the FA would continue to promote football in the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“We are doing our best in giving football what it rightly deserved. “The FA is determined to take football higher, no matter the financial challenges,” he said. He restated the readiness of the FA to produce a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club in the near future. According to him, as FCT, we are supposed to be the best in the country.
Bamigboye urged clubs in the FCT to aspire for greater leagues, adding that the FCT FA would always support them.z Tidesports source reports that FCT FA pre-season league which started on Monday was a preparatory competition for clubs and players ahead of Nigeria National League (NNL).
