Davido Is King Of Nigerian Music – Atiku …Pays Tribute To Fela

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has declared that the current reigning King of Nigerian music is David Adeleke popularly known as Davido. A viral video posted by Davido on his instagram had the former Vice President declaring the OBO crooner, the King of Nigerian music.
Asked about his favourite musician, Atiku said Fela was his favourite musician in the past, but Davido is his present favourite. He said: “All my youth, Fela was the King of music and believe me, he was my favourite musician and I made sure I attended all shrine musical events throughout the night and till morning, but of course, currently the reigning King is Davido.”
In his reaction, Davido posted on twitter, saying” “our incoming president knows Wassup, God bless you sir.” Recall that in January 27, 2019, Davido etched his name in the history books following a successful outing at 02 Arena London.
