UCDCs Hold 1stt General Conference In PH

The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike will be Special Guest of Honour on Friday at a one-day first General Conference of all United Community Development Committees (UCDCs) in the state, holding in Port Harcourt.
In a statement signed by the State Coordinator of the body, Mr. John Chidiebere Onwubualili, the conference which is the first conference of the body would be for all Chairmen and Secretaries in all communities in the state.
According to the statement, the theme of the Conference, “The Role of CDCs in Community Sensititisation and Participation In 2019 Elections”, is expected to inform the communities that Governor Wike, deserves second term in office having performed creditably for the first term.
The conference would have Ambassador Desmond Akawor as the Chairman while Hon. (Dr.) Gabriel Pidomson, Prof. A.W. Obianime and Barr. Mela Oforibika are to serve as guest speakers.
According to the coordinator the conference would also feature the impartation of wisdom to participants.
