Christians have been urged to fervently seek God in the days of their youth, when they are full of strength and vigour to do anything they desire best, as to make heaven.
Pastor Ananyo Udeali of Apostolic Faith Church, Omoku said this in his sermon at the funeral service in honour of The Tide staff, Late Florence Ezioma Bredino in Okposi Community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State recently.
The cleric described Late Florence as an epitome of love and peace, and urged the family to take solace in God, who is the father of orphans.
“There is season for everything, a time to born and to die, a time to plant and to harvest, a time to laugh and a time to mourn”, he added.
Recalled that late Florence Bredino joined the service of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation in 1985 as a Typist and by dint of hardwork rose to Principal Confidential Secretary 1 in the Editorial Department and later deployed to the Production Department as Senior Superintendent of Press.
In his speech, the Secretary to Management Committee, Mr. Nwachukwu K.O. Igwe who represented the management of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation described late Bredino as a woman of great virtue who was not only kind and glamorous but also diligent and committed to her duty. According to Mr. Igwe, her relationship with the entire staff was very cordial, pointing out that the Corporation has missed one of its trusted and finest Secretary/Superintendent of Press.
