Sports Enthusiast Wants NFF To Develop Women Football

A sports enthusiast, Lodee Beesor has called on Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) to develop women’s football at the grassroots in order to add more young players to Super Falconets.
He explained that women football in the country need more development because the Falconets has made Nigeria proud in Africa.
Beesor stated this, yesterday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports shortly after the Queens FC of Gure defeated Ladies FC of Port Harcourt in a friendly football match at the Community Primary School I football field Gure town, Khana Local Government Area, River State.
According to him, Women’s football has done well for the country, as winning the African Women Nation Cup(AWCON)nine out of 11time is not easy.
“I expect more development in women’s football because we’re behind in the world.
‘‘We need to do well when it comes to the Women’s World Cup also”,Beesor said.
He explained that, t they have qualified for the Women’s World Cup,they now need important friendly football matches to keep the them before the main tournament.
He commended the super Falconets for winning the just concluded AWCON in Ghana last year 2018.
