The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Publicity Secretary, Mr Darlington Oji, has described the judgement delivered last Monday at the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt as a landmark judgement.
Mr Oji, who stated this while speaking with The Tide in Port Harcourt yesterday, also remarked that it was a victory to democracy and justified as the last hope of the common man.
He said the judgement was a lesson for politicians who rule with impunity without respecting the rights of others.
The PDP publicity secretary noted that the judgement was a declaration of the end to tyranny.
Mr Oji also explained that the judgement would usher in a more united outcome in party politics.
He criticised the All Progressives Congress on what he described as impunity.
He vilified the APC for the violence perpetrated during a bye-election for the State House of Assembly.
He pointed out that politics was not a do-or-die affair.
Mr Oji stated that the last local government election which the APC did not participate in was free and fair.
He added the same election was violence- free.
He urged the Federal Government to respect the rule of law and play politics by the rules of the game.
He advised the APC to avoid impunity.
