Lawmaker Urges Constituents To Support Wike’s Re-Election Bid

A lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Adonye Diri has called on the people of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of the state to support the second term bid of Governor Nyesom WIke in view of his developmental strides across the state.
Diri made the call when the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of the State inaugurated its campaign team for the 2019 general elections.
Diri who is the member representing Opobo/Nkoro in the State legislature advised members of the campaign council to be proactive and ensure the reelection of the State Governor.
He explained, “We decided to inaugurate our local government campaign council for them to kick off with their job of winning souls, talking to those that believe in the PDP.
“In so short a time there is no part of Rivers State that will say they have not felt the impact of Governor Nyesom WIke development programme. We have seen the governor’s scorecard and we believe he deserves another term in office.
“For us in Opobo/Nkoro town we are very happy that last December we drove our cars into Opobo town for the first time after many years. This is a huge achievement by the Wike led administration and we believe that he deserves commendation,” Hon. Diri stated.
On his part, the coordinator of the Opobo PDP campaign Council, Senibo Emmanuel Oko-Jaja assured the people of an issue based campaign.
“Governor Nyesom Wike for me is the pride of Rivers State. You are aware that the name Mr. Project was given to him by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
