Go Round’s Coach Attributes Victory Team’s To Hard Work
The Chief Coach of Go Round football Club of Omoku,Rivers State Justin Smart has attributed their first win in the Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) to hard work
He explained that since he was given the mandate as the chief coach of the club,the players have been training very hard to achieve their dream.
Smart said this in a telephone interview with Tidesports after his team defeated Abia Warriors 2-1 in their first away match in the NPFL 2018-2019 season.
He gave special thanks to God for winning his first match with the club in the NPFL adding that his players played by his instructions.
“My instructions were taken by the players,and there was a good understanding among them in the field of play”Coach Smart said.
He commended his players for making him proud in their first away game adding that he is expecting more of that from them.
According to him, winning away from home in the NPFL is not easy noting that with what he saw in their first outing,his team will come out victorious in their next NPFL game. “Go Round FC is a big team and I know that with what is on ground,the sky will be our beginning” Smart stated.
He noted that Abia Warriors is a very big club that play good football but the better side won the game.
Coach Smart who was the former head coach of Cynosure FC of Port Harcourt explained that he added some new players to the team for the good of the club.
Also away from home Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt played their first game in the NPFL on Wednesday against Niger Tornadoes in a 1-1 draw.
