Don’t Allow APC Field Candidates In Zamfara -PDP

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Mohammed,has said that he would appeal should the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) allowed the All Progressives Party (APC) to contest any election in the state come the 2019.
Addressing newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, the gubernatorial hopeful noted that the constitutional 60 days for any party to present its candidates had elapsed.
According to him, no responsible electoral body would accept such a political mistake, warning that INEC should not rubbish itself or play on the intelligence of Nigerians.
Mohammed noted that Nigerians were watching the trend of events and were ready to defend their democratic future.
He warned the ruling party not to use their power of incumbency to rubbish the democratic process in Zamfara State, where he said everybody was tired of the killings, kidnappings and raping of innocent women.
The former federal lawmaker explained that if voted into office, it would no longer be business as usual and assured that he had put strategies in place to work out modalities that would enable the state and the people to regain their lost glory.
He assured that his first priority would be to pay the state civil servants the N30,000 minimum wage.
