Bayelsa Queens In High Spirits Ahead Super 4
The Chairman, Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa, Ebitimi Timi, says the team is in good shape and high spirit in the camp ahead of the Women Super Four League in Lagos.
Ebitimi spoke on Wednesday in Lagos at the arrival of the team in Lagos for the all-important competition.
“The players are in good shape and the spirit is high in the camp; all we just need is prayer,” the chairman said.
Tidesports source reports that the Women’s League body has scheduled the four-team competition between January 23 and January 26 at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
The Women Premier League Super Four to draw the curtain on the 2018 league is expected to produce the overall winner of the 2017/2018 season.
Ebitimi said that the team was already in Lagos, adding that the management was trying to put things together for the team to have enough rest ahead of the games.
“The government of Bayelsa has done everything to ensure we arrive here for the Super Four in time.
“The state FA has been so supportive to the team.
“So, we are here to win the Super Four Trophy,” the chairman said.
Tidesports source reports that team that will square up for the ultimate prize are Nasarawa Amazons, Rivers Angels, Sunshine Queens and Bayelsa Queens.
