Accord Party Rep Candidate Promises Empowerment

House of Representatives candidate for Asari Toru and Akuku Toru Federal constituency under the Accord Party, Chief Donald Horsfall says his campaign is hinged on Education, Morality and Investment (EMI).
Addressing newsmen shortly after the flag off of campaign in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Chief Horsfall said EMI will help transform the constituency and empower the people.
He said, “Morality is key in driving the required transformation we want in Nigeria. Without morality it’s difficult to transform our society”.
The House of Representative candidate decried the setback the constituency has suffered over the years despite being home to over 70 oil wells .
On how to change the current deplorable situation, Horsfall pointed out that job creation remains one way of empowering the people and giving them a sense of hope.
Meanwhile, a House of Assembly candidate for the Accord Party for Asari-Toru Constituency 1, Johnny Soye Barango has promised to make laws that will better the lives of the people in the area.
Barango, said, “The desires and aspirations of our people will be attended to in my tenure. We will organise town hall meetings, so we can hear and implement what the people want”.
The House of Assembly candidate maintained that his party is geared towns creating jobs for the teeming Rivers youths.
The same view was expressed by Elder Lord Nwosu aspiring to be legislator of Obio/Akpor Constituency 1 under the Accord party.
He reasoned that as a party bent on empowering the grassroot, he will champion an effective local government system if voted to represent his people at the assembly.
