Woman Vomits N500 Notes After Panties Went Missing
A married woman identified as Mariam Abdul, last Sunday reportedly vomited five hundred naira notes after two of her panties were allegedly stolen by suspected ritualists in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident, which occurred around JJC in Effurun, had thrown residents of the area into confusion.
It was learnt that the victim, who is believed to be in her early 20s, had hanged the panties outside after washing before they went missing two weeks ago.
“She suddenly started vomiting five hundred naira notes on Sunday morning when her husband, Taye Adekunle, raised the alarm at about 3:45am, calling neighbours to come to his aid,” a source hinted our reporter.
The eyewitness, who craved anonymity, said before the incident, Mariam had been a victim of suspected ritualists, who go around collecting female panties and other underwear in different parts of the state.
