Davido Promises To Work For Wike’s Re-Election

Nigerian born pop star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has revealed what he will do for the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike ahead of the 2019 elections. He promised to work for Wike’s re-election as Governor of Rivers State.
Daviod reportedly made the pledge in Port Harcourt when he visited the governor. He said he will also institute a talent hunt show for Rivers State- based artistes. He said the programme would be in line with his discussions with the state government to support new generation artistes in the State.
“I am also here to see my God-father, Governor Wike and to support his second term bid. Iam planning a talent hunt show in Port Harcourt, one of the lucky artistes will perform at my show in Lagos in December 27″, he said.
Davido also disclosed that he was in Port Harcourt to wish Governor Wike a happy birthday, adding that in the forthcoming year, there were several things he was planning for the good of the music industry.
Responding, Governor Wike promised to support the entertainment industry to create jobs for the youths.
Davido was accompanied by the organiser of the show, Mr Chima Aguma and music promoter, Soso Soberekon.
