Dappa Biriye Cup 2019: LCCN Appeals For More Support

The President General of the League of Character Club Nigeria, (LCCN), High Chief Christian A.Y Kokoriko has appealed to the State Government and other relevant bodies to support the next edition of the DappaBiriye Championship.
The statement was made when he paid a visit to the coordination of DappaBiriye foundation, MrsIbinaboDappaBiriye in Port Harcourt.
According to him, next year’s edition will be the celebration of the 25th year anniversary of the competition.
“ Many other elder state men will be immortalized in their different field’’, he said.
Furthermore, Kokoiriko stated that character molding is a collective and general responsibility for everyone involved and it is paramount to the development of the society.
In response to that, MrsIbinaboDappaBiriye commended the league of Character Club Nigeria for Immortalising her late father Chief Drpere Harold DappaBiriye with the soccer Cup Competition among youth. Club sides of South-South and South-East Zone of Nigeria since 1994.
She said that the league of Character Club Nigeria have really promoted a man who has contributed towards station and further urged the youths to be of good character and to provide peaceful co-existence among themselves.
