Charly Boy Weds Diane After 40years Of Marriage

Nigeria’s showbiz maestro and rights activist, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has formally walked his American wife, Diane, down the aisle after 40years of marriage in order to honour his aged mother who had been pleading that he did the right thing.
The Royal Punkness as he is also known way back and Diane exchanged marriage vows on Saturday evening at the Chapel of Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer Catholic Church in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
The low key wedding was officiated by the outspoken Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Mathew Kukah and had in attendance close friends and relatives of the couple including the aged mother of Charly Boy as well as the Arch Bishop of Abuja Catholic Diocese, Cardinal John Onaiyekan who was also in attendance among others. The couple exchanged the ‘ I DO’ vow amidst cheers from the congregation . Thereafter, they signed the marriage register. Onaiyekan in his exhortation, hailed the couple for staying together for over four decades. He however urged them to be committed to their marriage vows by showing Marita love, understanding and respect for each other.
Charly Boy also called Area Fada who is 67years old, has 9 children from different women and 16 grand children. He has however regarded Diane as mother of all his children.
