A’lbom Community In Rivers Promises Wike One Million Votes

The Akwa-Ibom Community in Rivers State has promised over a million votes to re-elect Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for second term in the 2019 governorship elections.
The president of the Akwa-Ibom Community in the state, Evang. Bassey Effiong, gave the assurance, Wednesday, in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the decision to support Governor Wike’s second term bid was made in the group’s end of year meeting in Port Harcourt.
He said the decision was sequel to Wike’s developmental strides in the state and the cordial relationship of the present administration with Akwa-Ibom people living in the state.
The president said over two million Akwa-Ibomites registered and collected their permanent voter card (PVC) in Rivers State assuring that over 60 percent of the members will cast their votes in Rivers State and for Governor Nyesom Wike and the PDP.
