The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) male volleyball club yesterday in Abuja beat their Nigerian Immigration (NIS) counterparts 3-1 in the ongoing Final Eight Tournament of the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League.
In the game played at the indoor sports hall of the Abuja National Stadium, the NPF side won the opening set 25-21, only to lose the second set 22-25.
The Police side took grip of the game thereafter, even though they had a tough time winning the third set 28-26.
In the fourth and final set, the Police players came all out to grab victory 25-13.
Tidesports source reports that the match was rescheduled from Monday, when an issue over players’ licences could not be resolved.
