PH Gospel Crusade: I’ve Been Fortified ….Says He ‘ll Defeat Forces Of Darkness -Wike

Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has stated that he has been fortified by God to defend the interest of the state against forces of darkness.
Speaking during a special luncheon for the Christ for All Nations (CFAN) President, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda and his team at the Government House, Port Harcourt yesterday, Governor Wike said that the great gospel crusade has been beneficial to the state.
He said: “I can tell you that I am more fortified and prepared to go and defeat Satan and his agents.
“Those who know what I am saying, know our background. It has not been easy for us. We require prayers of men of God, so we can keep going forward”.
The governor said that the massive turnout of Rivers people for all the days of the great gospel crusade prove that Rivers State is a Christian State.
He said he has benefited personally from the crusade as he derived daily blessing from his participation in the Godly event.
He said: “God will bless all of you. As you have honoured God, you will be honoured. We will keep in touch so that you will continue to pray for our dear state.”
Governor Wike said that the crusade has impacted the state positively as the crusade is happening at the right time.
“I want to say that this is not just a crusade, but a revival. Rivers State will prefer that this holds annually “, he said.
In his remarks, President of CFAN, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda thanked Governor Wike for hosting the entire team.
He described the hosting as an unprecedented occasion where the Rivers State Governor displayed hospitality, friendship and love.
Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on Religious Affairs, Bishop Winston Iwo said God has touched Rivers State with through the Great Gospel Crusade.
Meanwhile, Evangelist Kolenda, yesterday, was at visited the Rivers State Government House Chapel of Everlasting Grace built by Governor Nyesom Wike, where he prayed for the governor and the state.
The international evangelist, who was led by the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, prayed for the sustenance of Rivers State and God’s blessings on the state.
Accompanied by the Vice President of CFAN, Rev Peter Vandenberg and the Director, Africa for CFAN, Rev John Dakur, Kolenda prayed God to strengthen the administration of Wike for the good of the people.
Wike received the cleric at his residence from where he led him on a tour of the reconstructed Brick House and the old Catholic Chapel located in the precincts of the Government House, Port Harcourt.
The Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo and the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, joined the Rivers State governor during the visit to the Government House Chapel of Everlasting Grace.
At the residence of the governor, Kolenda also prayed for Wike and his family.
Earlier at the NLNG sandfill, venue of the Great Gospel Crusade, the mighty wave of God moved across the city of Port Harcourt as Jesus Christ touched thousands of worshippers.
The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike and top government officials joined other Christians to celebrate God’s blessing.
An American Worship and Praise Leader, Eddie James, led an outstanding session that brought down the presence of God across the length and breadth of the crusade.
Wike was in the spirit, praising God and dancing to the glory of God alongside his wife.
During the crusade, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda prayed God to destroy all the idols tormenting the state and stagnating development in the state.
Several converted sinners and witch doctors surrendered their charms and amulets, which were publicly burnt at the Crusade.
Preaching a sermon, Kolenda said that there was power in the blood of Jesus Christ to free all those suffering from the evil power of the devil.
Several worshippers who received God’s healing testified to God’s goodness after the prayer session.
