Dead Soldiers: Your Time Is Up, Fayose Attacks Buhari

Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari over his late reaction to the recent killing of 44 soldiers by Boko Haram in Metele,Borno State.
Our correpondent reports that the Senate last Thursday took notice of the killing of the soldiers and suspended plenary in honour of the slain officers.
However, the president has since remained silent over the killings for some days which stirred reactions.
Buhari finally on Saturday responded to the news, expressing deep shock over the killing of the military personnel.
He assured that immediate measures were being taken to ensure that the loopholes, which led to the fatalities, were blocked once and for all.
But reacting to Buhari’s statement, Fayose in a post on his Twitter page queried the late response of the president after days of killings.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to reject Buhari’s re-election bid in 2019.
