Botanically called “Murraya Koenigi” curry leaves contain protein, fat, carbolydrate, minerals and vitamins. Fresh leaves when boiled under pressure produce a volatile oil which is also very medicinal.
According to H.K. Bakhm curry leaves possess the qualities of a herbal tonic. They strengthen the functions of the stomach and promote its action. It’s also used as a mild laxative. Juice extracted from curry leaves can be mixed with buttermilk and drank.

All you need is to squeeze the leaves and mix it with lime juice. Be careful because it can only be used for outside treatment. Once the leaves are mixed with line juice, then apply on the area of insect or burn. Alternatively, you can make a poultice and place on the area.
