Aspirant Hails Return Of Peace In Rivers Community

The Rivers State House of Assembly candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Hon Ekweme Sunday Ibonye, has hailed the return of peace in Egbeda in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Hon Ekweme, who made the commendation while speaking with The Tide in Port Harcourt yesterday, expressed gratitude to God and all the peace builders, who sacrificed their time and resources for the return of peace.
He described the return of peace to the community as a remarkable achievement and expressed hope that it would be sustained.
Hon Ekweme, who was councillor representing Egbeda in Emohua Legislative Assembly in 1999 noted that he was optimistic that he would win the 2019 election.
He said that his victory 2019 would rekindle hope for the people of Egbeda, who had the last slot at that position in 1983.
He said he would impact positively on his constituency, if elected in 2019.
Hon. Ekweme described himself as a grassroot mobiliser.
The former councillor called on Emohua Local Government to vote an Egbeda to the Assembly in the interest of equity and fair play.
