The management of Kwara Ladies popularly known as Sure Babes has denied that the team has pulled out of 2017/2018 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL).
The Chairman of the team, Mohammed Daudu in a statement through the Media Officer, Toyin Saheed, said the situation was a false information.
“I was surprised when I received calls from different people asking me questions about it. I want to state categorically that the story is not true.
“I’m not happy with the person that spread it on social media. I still urge people to always confirm the fact about any story before going on social media, especially any thing that has to do with the club.
“Sure Babes is run professionally and we have a good structure; if we are going to pull out of the league, we will do it professionally,” Daudu said.
He, however, assured the supporters, fans and sports lovers in the state that the team would honour all their remaining matches in the league.
