Rivers To Partner D’Banj On Talent Dev

Nigerian born singer, song writer, entrepreneur and Television personality, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, and Port Harcourt first son, Dumcan Mighty paid a condolence visit to Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesome Wike recently over the death of the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Justice Emmanuel Aguma (SAN).
Speaking during the condolence visit, Governor Wike declared that the state government would work with D’banj to create opportunity for young musicians.
He noted that part of the problems that the musicians operating in the state have is the lack of opportunity to shine at the international stage.
The governor stated that the state government is working with different international musicians and producers to resolve the problem by creating opportunities for the development of the youths. He explained that the state government has developed one of the best cultural centres in the country, the Rex landson cultural centres Port Harcourt, pointing out that the state government will like to collaborate with D’banj a bimonthly hosting if musical shows at the facility.
Earlier, D’banj said he runs CREAM music platform defined specifically to empower the youths and give them opportunities. He offered to partner with the state on talent development.
He commended the state governor for his developmental strides that have transformed the state on the death of the state Attorney General, he condoned with the government and people of the state on the loss. The international pop star later visited the Rex Lawson centre Port Harcourt.
