Business men and women managing tourism and service outfits have been urged to consider their customers satisfaction as a major factor in the success of their business ventures.
The chairman, Bundu-Ama Council of Traditional Rulers, Chief Christian Abibo, gave the advice at the opening ceremony of Happy Beauty Home, in Bundu-Ama, PortHarcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Abibo said that most service companies close shops mainly because, in pursuit of monetary profit, they take issues concerning customers’ satisfaction for granted.
The royal father who also runs an hotel noted that most customers who leave service firms unsatisfied, especially on first visit, hardly like to come again.
“While you think of the profit you will make, it is very important that you consider customers’ satisfaction very crucial in your calculations”.
He commended the management of Happy Beauty Home for opening their branch in the area.
Speaking as guest of honour at the event, Pastor Fred Emmanuel of Logos Ministry, stressed the need for the manager of the outfit to detach business affairs from friends and family relations in other not to frustrate the company.
The man of God said while good customer care is essential, the idea of discharging services on credit or deferred payment must be curtailed in the interest of the firm.
In her address, the Managing Director of the home, Mrs Happiness Emmanuel, said her passion to render good and modern beauty services led her to open a branch of the company in the area.
She promised to maintain good customer relationship, quality services, and moderate charges to compete favourably with existing homes.
