Genevieve Nnaji Premiers Lion Heart At Toronto Film Festival

Lion Heart, which serves as Genevieve Nnaji directorial debut will be shown five times during the Toronto International Film festival (TIFF).
The movie whose cast include Genevieve Nnaji, Onyeka Onwenu, Peter Okoye (musician), Nkem Owoh (Osofia), and Pete Edochie, amongst others was premiered two days after the 2018 TIFF kicked off in Toronto, Canada.
Lion Heart is to be shown five time -during TIFF, and has already appeared on screen on Friday, September 7, Saturday, September 8, Monday, September 10, Wednesday, September 12, and will be shown on Saturday September 15.
Present at the premier were some of the major cast of the movie including Genevieve Nnaji, Peter Okoye, Nkem Owoh and Onyeka Onwenu.
The movie being the first to be directed by Genevieve, was billed to have its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
Other celebrities cast in the movie include Kanayo O.Kanayo, Kalu Ikeagwu, Jimina Osundo, Yakubu Mohammed and Sani Muazu.
Apart from Peter Okoye, “Lion Heart” also stars another popular Nigerian artiste, Phyno.
Lion Heart also marks the first original film from Nigeria to be acknowledged by Netflix and taken into its catalogue.
Genevieve Nnaji is said to have made Nigeria proud.
