Supervisor Tasks Community’s CDC On Peace

A frontline politician in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State and the Supervisor, Finance and Economy in the Council, Hon Ereh Clement Ereh has admonished the Chairman, Aluu Community Development Committee, (CDC), Mr. Stanley Orji, to enthrone peace and harmony in the clan.
Hon Ere, who decried the insecurity in the community also advised the CDC leadership to beef up security and attract development project to the clan.
He appealed to the CDC to initiate policies and programmes that would transform the clan and empower the youths positively. Describing election as a never do-or-die affair, the ex-councillor appealed to the CDC to unite all aggrieved parties in the clan and carry along even those who lost at the polls.
He warned the leadership to be transparent in their dealings and not to apply a divide-and-rule policy to cause disharmony in the clan.
Ereh advised the Aluu CDC to impart positive skills on the youths by empowering them with skills acquisition programmes to take away the youth from criminality.
Also speaking, Hon. ThankGod Izioma Wizor charged Orji led CDC to fight injustice in the clan and embrace positive change to transform the commnunity.
Hon Wizor, who is former leader of the legislative Assembly of the local government local government area thanked the electoral committee on for conducting credible and transparent election in Aluu Ward 13.
He appealed to the CDC to be prudent in all their transactions and shun corrupt practices in their dealings.
