Nigeria Is Sick, In Need Of Men Like Waive – PFN Chairman
Chairman, Delta State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, yesterday lamented the socio-economic state of the country, noting that the “country is sick” and need men like Rev Francis Waive, a House of Representative hopeful for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC to heal it. The call by the PFN chairman came as the House of Reps hopeful also affirmed his resolve to bring the dividends of democracy to the people of his constituents and add value to his party if elected.
Bishop Enakirerhi stated this at the Ughelli township stadium during a prayer session organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN from the three local government council making the constituency in honour of the political aspiration of Rev. Waive.
Speaking at the event which had in attendance over 700 pastors and church leaders from the five CAN blocks in the area, Bishop Enakirerhi said: “Nigeria is sick and we need the likes of Rev Waive to heal this country.
“It’s a sin to see a believer who will defend your faith and you vote against him. I don’t belong to any party, but I will vote for Waive because he has a Godly spirit, will speak up for the Christian faith and I assure all Christians from Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu constituency that he would not fail to defend the church at the Green Chambers if given the needed support.
