Monarch Solicits For Peace, Justice In Wakirike

The Amanyanabo of Ele Kingdom, King Tamunoseipiriala Felix Okuru, Apina VII, has paid a courtesy visit to the Amanyanabo of Bolo Se, King Acheseinimie Micah Frank, Bolo Luka VIII, and pleaded that the Wakirike National Traditional Rulers Council should look into the issue of Ele Kingdom in order to bring lasting peace, justice and truth to the area.
Okuru, who was in the palace of the Bolo monarch in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area with his council of chiefs, elders and people of the kingdom, last Saturday, said his coronation as the traditional ruler of the community was ordained by God and was chosen by the people of the kingdom.
The Ele monarch said he stands by the truth and believes that the truth must prevail because the people of Ele need peace, unity and development since no community strives in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
According to the paramount ruler, his choice was divine, and appealed to the Bolo monarch and the traditional rulers’ councils of Wakirike to use their authorities to ensure peace reign in Ele.
In his speech, the Amanyanabo of Bolo Kingdom, King Acheseinimie Micah Frank said he always stood by the truth, and enjoined the people of Ele to always stand by the truth, preach peace and progress in their kingdom.
Frank also enjoined them to think about progress of the community in order to move it forward.
In their separate speeches, the Chairman, Ogu/Bolo LG Council of Chiefs, Chief I.A Ayomadiki, the Chairman, Ele Divisional Council of Chiefs, Chief Joseph Oloye Buloabere and the spokesman of Ele Community, Chief Sample Amatarime Amakiri said the visit was a right step in the right direction as both Ogu, Bolo, Ele and other communities were to be their brothers’ keepers.
They said that efforts were being intensified to ensure peace in Ele community despite the uncompromising behaviour of some persons.
