Community Partners Security Agents To Tackle Insecurity
The newly elected Chairman of Community Development Committee (CDC) Aluu, Mr Stanley Orji says he will partner with security agencies and the Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Engr Samuel Nwanosike to tackle insecurity in the clan.
Orji also said he would collaborate with youths and chiefs in Aluu Clan to restore peace and unity in the community.
He spoke to The Tide at the weekend shortly after he was declared chairman by the election committee chairman, Mr Lawrence Alikor.
The CDC chairman, who was declared unopposed by the electoral committee said he would partner with the Ikwerre Local Government to transform the clan and attract development to the area.
He insisted that he would use his office as a tool to harmonise aggrieved persons in the clan and make Aluu a clan that speaks with once voice.
Describing the election as fair and credible, Orji appealed to youths of the clan to work as a team and shun sentiments and acts capable of breeding disunity.
Also speaking, Hon Obinna Okpara, who emerged as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) assured the people of Aluu that the body would not betray the confidence reposed in them.
Okpara said that the leadership of Aluu CDC would partner with companies, private sectors to create employment and empower youths with skills.
Hon. Obinna, who described the election as historic urged youths of Aluu extractions to shun cultism and anti social behavior to attract social economic development.
