Boat Mishap: Lifeless Bodies Of Missing Infants Recovered, Buried

A team of local divers few hours ago recovered the lifeless bodies of the two missing female infants identified as Little Miss Destiny Amamina and Miss Ngowari Amamina whose whereabouts were unknown until the early hours of yesterday.
Sources in Okrika, headquarters of Okrika local Government Area of Rivers State, confirm that the lifeless bodies were recovered in the creeks by a team of local divers.
The Chairman of the Okrika Local Government Council, Philemon Iwoloma Kingoli confirmed the recovery of the lifeless bodies after three days of intensive search.
According to the Okrika LG boss, “As I speak to you, we about burying them; and as a council, we have instituted an inquiry into what led to the accident.
“We’ll not condone act of recklessness on the part of boat users in our waterways again. Strict marine transportation safety must be adhered to by boat operators and their passengers,” Kingoli added.
