Group Drums Support For Chairmanship Aspirant
The National Peoples Democratic Party Professional and Business Group, Opobo/Nkoro (ONELGA) chapter has called on Pastor Isaac Mietamuno Jaja to contest for the chairmanship of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.
The group made the call in a statement in Opobo town after their quarterly meeting held on Monday .
The statement jointly signed by the coordinator and secretary of the group. Adagogo Toby and Balafama Jaja, described Jaja as a seasoned administrator who had made impact during his 27 days in office as Caretaker Committee chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.
The group said Mietamuno is a man that has been tested, trusted and proven with a great impact of integrity and excellent performance.
According to the group, “we join other indigenes of Opobo/Nkoro to call on Jaja who has the administrative acumen to drive the local government to a greater height to contest for the office of Chairman of the local government Area”.
” Mietamuno Jaja has the competence to transform our Local Government Area in terms of security, youth and women empowerment, employment generation, staff welfare, electricity generation and sanitation, ” the group stated.
The group said they found him worthy based on his past record of service to the people, hence the call for him to steer the affairs of the local government.
