The Technical Adviser of Go Round FC of Omoku in Rivers State, Ngozi Elechi has expressed disappointment over the one all draw against the visiting Niger Tornadoes last Sunday, at Krisdera Hotel Stadium in Omoku.
He noted that in spite of the unimpressive performance recently the team will not be relegated, saying that the playing pattern of the players is improving but the problem was unable to convert scoring chances.
Elechi said this while fielding questions from sports journalists, during the post-match interview at Omoku.
According to him, all hope is not loss, but is worried because he did not know what has come over the players.
“I must say that we did not do well today (Sunday), I am disappointed because my players wasted scoring chances in the first stanza of the game.
“Apart from that I know that Go Round players are improving in terms of playing and I also know that we will not be relegated”, Elechi said.
Also speaking, the coach of Niger Tornadoes said, their intention was to run away with the three points, but Go Round players came smoking and powerful.
According to him, his success has been that the technical crew and management of the club have been very supportive.
“The management did not give me any condition or ultimatum so my mind is relaxed, but I will not disappoint them.
“Besides, that we do not underrate any team, that also contribute to our recent impressive performance”, Abara said.
