Eguma Laud Player Over Victory

The technical manager of Rivers State united Stanley Eguma has commended his player for a comfortable win against Heartland.
He stated that, it was a difficult game in the first half, adding that he changed the formation of the game in the second half and they got early goal at the 55th minute.
Eguma made the commendation after his side beat Heartland 2-0 on Wednesday at the Yakubu Gowon stadium Port Harcourt.
It was the match day 14 of the Nigeria professional football league (NPFL) which saw the pride of Rivers defeated Heartland.
He explained that Rivers United created many scoring chances but his attackers could not convest those chances adding that the player are beginning to understanding themselves and the formation of the team.
“we played well, create chances score only two goals is not enough we need to score more goals”. He stated.
He further said that the league is till half way and assured fans and supporters of Rivers united that the club will do well before the season end.
Rivers United has played 14 matches win six draw two loss six scored total of 13 goals conceived 15 goals with 20 points and sit on ten positions currently.
