Chairmanship Aspirant Promises Peace, Security

A chairmanship as
pirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Khana Local Government Area, Mr. John Nyodee has promised to improve upon the current security being enjoyed in the area.
Nyodee who is the Assistant State Organizing Secretary of the party told newsmen in an interview in Port Harcourt that if elected he would work with the various security agencies to ensure peace in all parts of Khana.
He also said that his administration would improve infrastructural development in all parts of Khana, while empowerment opportunities will be created for the youths.
Nyodee described himself as attested and trusted politician, stressing, that as grassroot mobiliser, he has the capacity to not only bring dividend of democracy to the people, but ensure the victory of the party in the 2019 governorship election in Khana.
Meanwhile, the Khana Elders Committee of the party has given reason for its endorsement of Hon Nyodee for the chairmanship of Khana Local Government PDP for the forth-coming local government election.
A communiqué made available to newsmen at the end of its meeting in Bori, said that it decision was based on the capacity of the aspirant to provide security and as well improve on the infrastructural development of the area.
According to the communiqué jointly signed by chairman of the Elders Committee, Chief Kobani E.N. Bere, Chief Emmanuel Kane Public Relations Officer Dr. Godwin N.D. Nkeeh, secretary, Lady Glory Ngozi and others, the aspirant who is a bridge builder between the young and old, also has the capacity to lead the party to victory in 2019.
“That having considered the various aspirants for the office of the chairman, the elders have resolved that Hon. John Nyodee be accepted as the sole candidate of the PDP.
“This standpoint is borne out of the fact that the gentleman has demonstrated a deep sense of maturity, fairness, comradeship, leadership and accountability in his dealings with party members over the years,” it said.
