Moses Leads Key Players For Nigeria In Russia 2018 W’Cup
Former Nigeria international, Ndubuisi Okosieme has named Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho as the Super Eagles’ key men at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.
The Super Eagles are in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland at the global tournament which will be hosted by Russia between June 14 and July 15.
The four players are part of Nigeria’s 28-man squad for the FIFA international friendly games against Poland and Serbia which will be played later this weekend and nextTuesday.
‘’I must confess to you that Rohr is doing very well. I went through the 28-man list that he just released for the two international friendlies and I concluded that Eagles mean business,’’ Okosieme told newsmen
‘’I’m very happy with the current form of four of our players in top clubs in England. I see Moses, Iwobi, Iheanacho and Ndidi as players that will give Argentina and Croatia trouble.
‘’They will be too hot for our opponents to handle. Looking at the young crop of talented players we have in that list, Eagles will do wonders in Russia.’’
Retired midfielder Okosieme played for the Super Eagles at the 1988 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals which were hosted by Morocco.
